この規格は，主として自動車用に使用するちょうナット(以下ナットという)について規定する。本規格部品は，IST 部品規格にて「＊定員化部品（△）」に設定し，新規の使用を禁止し，2011年9月をもって廃止するものとする。
This standard covers wing nuts (hereinafter referred to as ‘nuts') mainly for use in automobiles. This standard parts shall be designated as "*Quantity Ceiling Set Parts(?)" in accordance with the IST Parts Standards. The parts shall be prohibited from being newly used and discontinued effective on Sept. 2011.
